Terms of service
Last updated September 17, 2026
These terms cover your use of PermitIQ, run by Park West Design LLC (“we”). By signing in, you agree to them. If you use PermitIQ for a company, you agree for that company.
The service
PermitIQ helps teams track building permits, review and mark up plan sets, manage corrections and schedules, and log permit correspondence, including from a connected Gmail account. Features may change over time.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in secure and tell us about any unauthorized use.
- Team owners decide who joins the team and what role each person has.
- You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of the plans, documents, emails and other content you add. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run PermitIQ for your team, as described in the privacy policy. You confirm you have the right to upload what you add.
Acceptable use
Don’t use PermitIQ to break the law, upload content you have no right to share, try to access other teams’ data, interfere with the service, or reverse engineer it.
Plan review results are a tool, not professional advice
Automated checks, AI-assisted reviews, reminders and schedules can be incomplete or wrong. They don’t replace review by a licensed design professional or the permitting agency, and you remain responsible for your plans, submittals and deadlines.
Connected Google accounts
Connecting Gmail is optional. PermitIQ only reads email and never sends or changes it. You can disconnect at any time from the Email page or your Google account settings.
Availability
We work to keep PermitIQ running but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own copies of important files.
Ending use
You can stop using PermitIQ at any time. We may suspend access that breaks these terms. You can ask us to delete your data as described in the privacy policy.
Disclaimers and limits
PermitIQ is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as permit delays or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for PermitIQ in the 12 months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, with venue in King County, Washington.
Changes
If we change these terms, we’ll update the date above. Continuing to use PermitIQ means you accept them.
